Mr. Glasgow was a lifelong member whose ancestors had attended Smith Church. He served as head usher for many years and was a faithful member of the Adult Men’s class. He was a charter member of the United Methodist Men. A firm believer in the tithe, Mr. Glasgow supported the church generously with his resources.

Lillie was also a lifetime member of Smith UMC and a member of the Adult Women’s Sunday School class. Miss Lillie was always willing to help with the fund raising suppers.
