“Red” was a dedicated church member for 25 years. He was honored in April, 1987, for many years of faithful service as secretary of the United Methodist Men. This picture was taken at Topsail Beach, the place where the UMM spent a week each year fellowshippin’, fishin’ and enjoyin’ the pier. That is when they always chewed, dipped, and sometimes they even caught some fish!
