Smith United Methodist Church

Lester was a member of the United Methodist Men and one of his joys was entertaining them with a cookout at his pond. He was active in many areas and could always be called upon to help with any project. He attended the Adult Men’s class regularly, and could be counted on to give a rousing “AMEN”! during the worship services. He was also known to stretch his arm and look pointedly at his watch if he saw that the sermon was extending past noon!

Lorene was a member of the United Methodist Women and the Adult Women’s class which she attended regularly. She especially enjoyed attending Bible Studies which were held from time to time. Lorene was a true believer and a faithful servant of God.
