Smith United Methodist Church

Like his father before him, Leonard served the Church in many capacities, among them as a member of the Board of Trustees and as a charter member of the United Methodist Men. He attended the Adult Men’s Bible Class regularly and helped in the remodeling of the church building. He also assisted in the building of the parsonage.
Marjorie sang in the Church choir for many years and was recognized by the Worship Committee for her years of service when they presented her with the annual Worship Award.
Marjorie was a member of the United Methodist Women, serving as the president. She was a member of the Night Circle. She was the chairman of the Worship Committee for a time and regularly attended the Adult Women’s Sunday School Class.
