John Wesley was a member of the Church from childhood. He served as president of the United Methodist Men of which he was a charter member. He attended Sunday School regularly all of his life, and the John Wesley Fulghum Memorial Sunday School Class is named for him and his father. John Wesley participated in many of the church activities, including serving as MYF Counselor and his love for his Lord and Smith Church was shown throughout his short life.
